Sunday night, the resolution is loud. Monday is easy because the resolution is still ringing. Tuesday is harder but the streak is short enough to feel cheap to break. Wednesday is where most habit attempts die.
The pattern is well-documented. The novelty has worn off. The compound returns haven't arrived. The thing that used to feel meaningful now feels like one more obligation in a day full of them. Without a system, the resolution loses to the calendar.
What the day three drop actually looks like
Three things happen at once on day three. First, the dopamine of starting is gone. Second, the cost of the action. The fifteen minutes. Is now a known, concrete cost, while the payoff is still abstract. Third, life intrudes; meetings move, people text, the ritual gets pushed and pushed.
None of this is a willpower failure. It's a structural one. You designed for the version of yourself who made the resolution, not the version of yourself running a normal Wednesday.
What the system does

What you do
On Sunday night, pre-commit to Wednesday specifically. Block fifteen minutes in your calendar at the time you're most likely to honour it (morning, before email). Tell your accountability partner that Wednesday is the test. When Wednesday arrives, do the ritual first, before the day starts deciding what you do.
Past day seven, the compounding starts to do the work for you. The Power Score starts trending up. The mastery hours add up to a real number. The Arena celebrates you for crossing a milestone. By day thirty, the question stops being "can I keep this up" and becomes "how do I make this part of who I am."
The line that closes it
Most people quit by Wednesday. The system is built to make sure you are not most people.
