Elite Mentality Ltd ("we", "us") is the controller of personal data you provide when you use Elite Mentality (the "Service"). We are based in the United Kingdom and follow the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Account data: email address, OAuth identifier from Google or Apple if you choose those providers, display name, time zone.
- Ritual data: mastery field, daily ritual completions, focus session durations, win and lesson entries, accountability partnerships you create.
- Anti-vision text: the private reflection you write during onboarding. Stored encrypted at rest and visible only to you.
- Device data: push notification token, app version, IP address (for security and abuse prevention).
- Billing data: handled by Stripe; we store the customer and subscription identifiers, not card numbers.
How we use it
- To provide the daily ritual, streak, mastery and community features.
- To send the notifications you have enabled in settings, never more than your daily cap.
- To process payments through Stripe (or Apple/Google for in-app purchases).
- To improve the product through privacy-respecting product analytics.
Lawful basis
We process data under (a) the contract you enter into when you create an account and (b) your explicit consent for marketing and optional analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Your rights
- Export your data. Available in Settings.
- Delete your account. Available in Settings; deletion is final after 30 days.
- Correct inaccurate data. Edit in the app or email hello@elitementality.co.uk.
- Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Once deleted, personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised aggregate metrics may be retained indefinitely.
